# Join a network and accept an invitation

## Before you start
Have your invitation and the email address your organization expects you to use ready. An account and membership in a network are different: signing in alone does not necessarily grant access to your team.

## Join your team
1. Open the invitation link provided by your organization.
2. Follow the sign-in or account-creation prompts.
3. Check that you are using the intended email address and network.
4. Complete any onboarding prompts shown for your network.

## If you cannot join
Ask your network administrator to confirm your invitation and membership. Do not forward an invitation to someone else. See [Invitation link doesn't work](/articles/invitation-not-working/).
