# Leave a network or request account deletion

## Different actions
Leaving a network changes your membership in that organization. Deleting an account is a separate request and can affect access across networks. Neither should be assumed to delete every post, record, or item your organization must retain.

## Before leaving
Ask your administrator about ownership transfers, outstanding tasks, and any records you need to hand over. Do not remove shared work to leave the network.

## Request help
Use an available membership control or contact the network administrator. For account deletion or personal-data requests, [contact Converge](/articles/contact-support/) and ask about the supported process and retention rules. Do not send identity documents unless an approved verification method is provided.
